Erotophobia (Working Title)
This series of photographs questions essentialist readings of women's sexual identity. Depicting a variety of women who allowed their private kinks to be made public, these poetic, comic and political sexual images document the enormous range of female sexualities.
Andrea Fernandes is a freelance fashion photographer. She has been commissioned to work for leading publications and enterprises like FNL, M, Times Group and Outlook amongst others in India. Her work is also held within private and corporate collections. Fernandes has a long standing interest in issues of representing identity and gender.
